William “Bill” Ruhr, 87, of Morgan died peacefully on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at Gil-Mor Manor in Morgan. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, January 9, 2012 from St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Morgan with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday, from 4 until 7 p.m., with a 6:30 p.m. prayer service, all at the church. Visitation will continue on Monday at the church for one hour prior to services.

William Joseph Ruhr, the son of Theodore “Ted” and Mary (Kline) Ruhr, was born July 26, 1924 in Castlewood, South Dakota. He was baptized, received his first Holy Communion, and was confirmed at St. John’s Catholic Church. Bill also received his education at the parochial school there.
