Thomas “Tom” Hoffmann, 73, of Morgan died Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at Sleepy Eye Care Center in Sleepy Eye. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, January 6, 2014 from St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Morgan with burial to follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Sleepy Eye. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 5, 2014, from 4 until 8 p.m., at Nelson-Martin Funeral Home in Morgan and will continue on Monday at the church for one hour prior to services. Thomas Alfred Hoffmann, the son of Sylvester and Marcella (Kral) Hoffmann, was born March 7, 1940 in Sleepy Eye. He grew up on the family farm near Sleepy Eye and received his formal education at St. Mary’s elementary and high school in Sleepy Eye. Tom graduated high school in 1959 then began farming.
