Sandra “Sandy” Potter, 73, of Morgan died Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at Sleepy Eye Medical Center. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 4, 2014 from St. John’s Lutheran Church in Morgan with private burial at a later date. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 3, 2014, from 4 until 8 p.m., at the Nelson-Martin Funeral Home in Morgan and will continue on Saturday, from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m., at the church. Sandra Bernice Potter was born to Mildred Dale Woolwine on March 29, 1940 in West Virginia and was adopted at birth by Floyd and Bernice (Rockwell) Hayer. Sandy grew up in the Grove City and Hutchinson areas. She received her formal education in Grove City and Hutchinson Public schools, graduating from Hutchinson High School in 1957.
