Richard Crooks, 67, of Redwood Falls died Sunday, December 14, 2014 at Sunwood Good Samaritan Care Center. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 from Nelson-Martin Funeral Home in Redwood Falls. Burial will follow in St. Cornelia’s Episcopal Cemetery on the Lower Sioux Community. Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 17, 2014 from 9 until 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Richard Stuart Crooks, the son of Phillip and Betty (Bear) Crooks, was born July 27, 1947 in Pipestone. He grew up in the Morton area and spent his entire life in the area. Due to health reasons, he moved to Johnson Park Place in Redwood Falls and then recently to Sunwood Good Samaritan Care Center.
