Richard Paul Berry, the son of Robert and Betty (Bluestone) Berry, was born October 26, 1961 in St. Paul. He grew up in St. Paul and received his formal education in St. Paul public schools. Richard moved to the Lower Sioux Community in 1976 and worked for Jackpot Junction for a time. He was an active member of St. Cornelia’s Episcopal Church.

Richard enjoyed listening to music, fishing and playing cards – particularly cribbage. He liked 4-wheeling and playing pool; he had his own pool cue. Richard enjoyed watching music videos from his extensive collection. He was a rock ’n roller and a big fan of the Rolling Stones. Richard faithfully fed and looked after the neighborhood cat population.

Richard is survived by his mother Betty Lee of Morton; brothers Rodney Berry, Bruce Berry, Roger Berry, and Dennis Berry all of the Lower Sioux Community; several nieces and nephews; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father Robert Berry, Sr.; his brother Robert Berry, Jr.; and his sister Marie Berry.

Blessed be his memory.
