Pam Kay (Holscher) Dvorak was born on June 16, 1960, to Tom and Marge (Ostrowski) Holscher in St. Cloud, MN. After graduating from St. Cloud Apollo High School in 1978, she moved with her family to Redwood Falls, MN, where she worked at JC Penny’s. Pam married Jim Panitzke in 1980, going on to have four children: Ben, Tina, Alysa, and Emma. Pam moved to St. Cloud in 2018 and married Kevin Dvorak. Pam dedicated her life to being a wonderful and loving mother, grandmother, and wife.
Pam’s greatest joy was her 8 grandchildren. She always said that being a grandma was the greatest job she could have ever asked for. Whether it was playing games, sewing, watching sporting events, baking, or just sitting by the campfire, Grandma Pam was always the center of their worlds. Pam treasured her grandchildren and embraced every moment she could spend with them.
Pam was an amazing caregiver, she always knew the right things to say, never missed a special date or occasion and was always there for anyone that needed her. Taking care of others was always Pam’s biggest passion and hobby and it was evident in the work she did. Pam was always drawn to children, running a daycare, and working in the school systems for over 20 years. She always had a soft spot for the underdog. Pam enjoyed working in customer service all her life, always greeting you with a smile, a hug and if you were lucky some of her famous seasoned pretzels. Her kindness was always shining through. She will be truly missed. Her life was an example of Ephesians 4:32 “be kind to one another, and merciful, generously forgiving one another, as also God in Christ has generously forgiven you”.
Pam was preceded in death by her infant daughter Emma Mel Panitzke, her mother Marge Bellig, her stepfather Bob Bellig and her sister Michele Harazin.
Pam is survived by her husband Kevin Dvorak of St. Cloud, son Ben (Kears) Panitzke of Hector, daughter Tina (Jason) Halvorson of Redwood Falls, daughter Alysa (Justin) Pulliam of Villard, son Brady Bechtold of St. Cloud, parents Tom and Elaine Holscher of Long Prairie, sister Janet (Greg) Bitker, brothers Tim (Amy) Nesburg, Jimmy-Dean Nesburg, and Patrick (Melissa) Nesburg, brother-in-law Gordy Harazin, many nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
Pam will forever be watching over her 8 greatest joys; her grandkids. Ashton, Dominick, Gracelyn, Charlie, Landyn, Benton, Mika and Briella. “Grandma loves you to the stars and back”.
Blessed be her memory.
