Orville L. Dahmes, 95, of Redwood Falls died Saturday, March 5, 2011, at Immanuel St. Joseph’s Hospital in Mankato. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 11, 2011 from First United Methodist Church in Redwood Falls, with Rev. Janiece Redman officiating. Burial will be held at the New Avon Methodist Cemetery at a later date, with full military honors conducted by the Victor Hirsch Post 263 of Wabasso. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2011, from 4 until 7 p.m., at the Nelson-Martin Funeral Home and will continue at the church on Friday for one hour prior to services. The family requests that memorials be directed to First United Methodist Church of Redwood Falls or New Avon Methodist Cemetery Fund.
