Myrtle Rose, 97, of Morgan died Friday, January 16, 2015 at Gil-Mor Manor in Morgan. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 22, 2015 from Bethany Lutheran Church, rural Gilfillan, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. She was baptized in Bethany Lutheran Church on May 28, 1917 and confirmed there on September 4, 1932. Myrtle attended Gilfillan grade school and Morgan High School. She received her teacher’s certificate at Redwood Falls Teacher’s Training and then taught in District 34 rural school.
