Michael “Mike” Gruendemann, 53, of Redwood Falls died Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at Redwood Area Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, November 30, 2015 from Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Redwood Falls with burial to follow in Redwood Falls Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, from 9 until 11 a.m., at the church. Arrangements are with Nelson-Hillestad Funeral Service of Redwood Falls. E-mail condolences may be sent via www.nelson-hillestad.com. Michael Allen Gruendemann, the son of Elmer and Betty (Boushek) Gruendemann, was born March 17, 1962 in Redwood Falls. He grew up in Redwood Falls and received his formal education here. In 1980, Mike moved into REM-South Central Services. He was employed at Services Enterprises, Inc. for many years. Mike was involved in the Special Olympics program for several years. He loved dogs, enjoyed watching the Minnesota Twins, and going bowling. Mike especially enjoyed time with his family and friends.
