Mary Ann Kuehn was born on January 27, 1947, in Redwood Falls, to her parents Joe and Ann (Newman) Trandahl. From an early age, Mary’s bright spirit and determination shone through. She attended elementary school in Wabasso and graduated from Redwood Falls High School in 1965, where her friendships blossomed, and her vibrant character began to take shape. On August 27, 1966, she married the love of her life, Marlin Arnold Kuehn in Redwood Falls, and together they built a foundation of love and support for their family.

Mary dedicated over 16 years to her career as a Realtor for Coldwell Banker Advantage in North Carolina, a role through which she touched countless lives and helped families find their dream homes. She retired in 2020, taking a well-deserved moment to enjoy life before making the move back to Minnesota in 2022. However, her heart led her back to embrace the community she loved in Redwood Falls.

Mary was a member of St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Redwood Falls and Wake Forest, North Carolina. She also was a Lay Minister for St. Catherine's Catholic Church.

Mary was more than a devoted wife and mother; she was a treasured grandmother and great-grandmother, a cheerful presence in the lives of her family that brought joy and warmth. She is survived by her husband, Marlin Kuehn; daughter, Lisa Baune of Redwood Falls; son, Chad (Carrie) Kuehn of Apex, NC, and her legacy lives on in her eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

Mary will be remembered not only for her professional accomplishments but also for her unwavering love for her family, her infectious smile, and her genuine compassion for others. Her nurturing spirit will live on in the hearts and memories of those she touched.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Ann Trandahl; son, Joseph Marshall Kuehn; brothers Arden and Ed Trandahl; sisters, Marilyn Knudson, JoAnn Steffl, Yvonne Trandahl, and Pat Szarke. She was also predeceased by her sisters-in-law, Elaine Schlenner and June Kuehn, brothers-in-law, Melvin and Murl Kuehn; nephew, David Kuehn; nieces, Debbie Szarke and Lori Kuehn.

In this time of grief, we hold onto the cherished memories of Mary Kuehn and the indelible mark she left on our hearts. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege to call her family and friend.

Blessed be her memory.
