Lawrence Kerby, 89, of Redwood Falls died Sunday, January 27, 2019 at Sunwood Good Samaritan Care Center in Redwood Falls. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 from St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Redwood Falls with burial to follow in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Seaforth. Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 5, 2019, from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m., at the church.

Lawrence Kerby, 89, of Redwood Falls, MN, died Sunday, January 27, 2019 in the Sunwood Good Samaritan Care Center in Redwood Falls. He passed after a short fight with heart disease and other complications.
He was born on March 11, 1929 in Sheridan Township, Redwood County, Minnesota. He was son of Tom and Anna (Kahnke) Kerby. Lawrence was baptized as an infant and later confirmed in his Catholic faith as a youth.
After he served in the Tank Division of the 135 Infantry, Lawrence farmed in Redwood County and later in Renville County. He enjoyed farming and taking care of the animals and pets, especially his dogs. Lawrence enjoyed visiting with friends and family gatherings especially at Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Lawrence is survived by his, brother in law, James Murray and nieces and nephews.
Lawrence is preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Anna Kerby; Brothers Tom and John; Sisters Claire Murray and Helen Wendinger and brother in law Gilbert Wendinger.
