Kelly Shepherd, 47, of Redwood Falls died Monday, October 5, 2015 at her home. Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, October 8, 2015 from Nelson-Hillestad Funeral Home in Redwood Falls with burial at a later date. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from noon until 1 p.m.

Kelly Kristine Shepherd, the daughter of William and Katherine Shepherd, was born August 12, 1968 in St. Cloud. She grew up in St. Cloud and received her formal education at Lincoln Elementary School and Apollo High School.
Kelly lived in Sauk Centre, Sartell, Long Prairie, Red Wing, and Astoria, Oregon before moving to Redwood Falls. She worked as a cook, at Treasure Island Casino, and Hoodoo Lodge.
She is survived by her daughter Amanda Majeski of Redwood Falls; sisters Mishelle (Dale) Mehr of Paynesville, and Rose Joubert of St. Paul; and brother Paul (Sheila) Shepherd of Paynesville. Kelly was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, and niece Elissa Larson.
