Irene Mae Peterson, 92, of Redwood Falls and formerly of Franklin died Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at Wood Dale Home in Redwood Falls. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 1, 2013 from Nelson-Martin Funeral Home in Redwood Falls with burial to follow at Franklin City Cemetery. She was baptized at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Morton and confirmed in Bird Island. Irene received her formal education in country school near Bird Island.
