Glenn Lund, 74, of Franklin died Sunday, December 14, 2014 at his home. A private family memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 20, 2014 from Nelson-Martin Funeral Home in Redwood Falls. Burial, with full military honors will follow at the Franklin Cemetery. Arrangements are with Nelson-Martin Funeral Service of Redwood Falls. E-mail condolences may be sent via www.nelsonmartinfuneralservice.com. Glenn Roger Lund, the son of Philip and Mildred Ann (Olson) Lund, was born May 18, 1940 in Palmyra Township, Renville County. He grew up in the Franklin area and graduated from Franklin High School in 1958. Following high school, Glenn enlisted in the United States armed forces and served his country in Vietnam, France, Germany and Southeast Asia. Captain Lund was honorably discharged, following a 20-year long career, in 1978. Glenn graduated from St. Cloud School of Nursing in May 1970 and St. Cloud State College in May 1976.
