Gladys Raddatz, 104, of Redwood Falls died Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at Wood Dale Home in Redwood Falls. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 6, 2016 from St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Redwood Falls with burial to follow in the Redwood Falls Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Monday, from 10 until 11 a.m.

Gladys (Krueger) Raddatz, the daughter of Carl and Wilhelemina (Pehling) Borning, was born February 23, 1912 in Echo. She was baptized and confirmed at Peace Lutheran Church in Echo.
On February 16, 1932, Gladys married Everett Krueger in Marshall and they made their home in Wood Lake. They moved to Redwood Falls in 1942. Everett died in October 1982 and Gladys remained in Redwood Falls.
In November 1986, Gladys married Harvey Raddatz in Coon Rapids and they made their home in Redwood Falls. Harvey died in December 1997. Gladys was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church; she was active in church work and held various offices in the ladies’ groups and committees. Gladys was a devoted Meals on Wheels volunteer and a member of the Senior Fun Band. She enjoyed her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Gladys liked to garden and grow flowers. She was an avid fan of the Minnesota Twins and, in her spare time, enjoyed golfing, playing cards, bowling, and numerous games.
Gladys is survived by her daughters Audrey (Reginald) Hale of Alexandria, and Dayette M. Hulett of Coon Rapids; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; her son Everett Krueger, Jr.; a grandson; sister Mae Peterson; and son-in-law Leon Hulett.
