Eunice Regnier, 89, of Redwood Falls died Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at Sunwood Good Samaritan Care Center. Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 from St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Redwood Falls with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday from 10 until 11 a.m.

Eunice Opal Regnier, the daughter of Elmer and Oline (Stenstuen) Steen, was born July 18, 1923 in Stevens County, Minnesota. She grew up in the Stevens County area and received her formal education there.
On January 7, 1950, Eunice married Robert L. “Bob” Regnier in Ortonville and they made their home in Redwood Falls. Eunice was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, doing cross-stitch and needlepoint, fishing, camping, bird watching and taking walks. Eunice was an avid crossword puzzle buff and a voracious reader; most of all she loved dancing with Bob and spending time with her kids and grandkids.
Eunice was a member of St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Redwood Falls where she taught religion classes for several years and was a long-time CCW member.
Eunice is survived by her children Patricia (Dave Scheitel) Moritz of Redwood Falls, Greg (Jan) Regnier of Portland, Oregon, and Randy (Kristi) Regnier of Maynard; grandchildren Jason, Chad (Becky), Tonya (Lee), Nichole (Billy), Andrew (Mandy), Robert (Nichol), Jennifer (Ben), Jesse (Jenny), and Christine; and step-grandchildren Christopher (Jessica), and Jason. Also surviving are great-grandchildren Teanna, Bryant, Devin, Amahra, Jonathan, Eli, Aliyah, Reese, Reagan, Tegan, and Lydia; and her siblings Helen (Charles) Yerigan of Morris, Alice (Ron) Bakke of Kelso, Washington, Margaret Anderson of St. Paul Park, Elaine Creitz of Seattle, Washington, David Steen of West Lafayette, Indiana, and Roger Steen of Nashville, Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bob in 2009; her son Daniel in 2002; great-grandson Amos Robert Regnier; brothers Tony, Norman, Kenny, and Gordon Steen; sister Evie Reimers; and brother-in-law Gordon Regnier.
