Donna Mae graced this world with her presence for 93 remarkable years, having been born on October 11 1931, in New Avon Township, Redwood County. As the daughter of Paul Christopher and Alma Bertha Sophia (Fennern) Timm, Donna Mae was a product of a loving family environment, which she carried into her own life.

A proud graduate of high school in June of 1949, Donna Mae embarked on a noteworthy career at Salfer's grocery store in Wabasso. She dedicated herself to this vocation from the day she started in 1952 until her retirement on December 31, 2009. Her unwavering commitment to her work and the community she served left an indelible mark on the hearts of those she interacted with daily.

Deeply rooted in her faith, Donna Mae was a long-time member of both Saint Pauls Church in Seaforth and Trinity Lutheran Church in Willow Lake Township. Not only did she actively participate in her community through her church, but she also shared her passion for faith by teaching Sunday School and lending her beautiful voice to the choir for many years. Her contributions to her church would be remembered fondly, reflecting her dedication and spirituality.

In the company of family, Donna Mae's warmth and kindness shone the brightest. She is survived by her nephew Lester (Marion) Timm of Brandon, SD; her nieces Elvera Timm of Hutchinson, MN, and Norma (Roger) Berg of Redwood Falls, MN; and great nieces and nephews who will carry forward the love and lessons she imparted. The bond she shared with her family was a source of joy and pride in her life.

Preceding her in death were her beloved parents, Paul and Alma Timm; her brother Edwin Timm; and sister-in-law, Emma Timm. Their memories will be cherished as Donna Mae's legacy lives on through her family and friends who remember her with affection and gratitude.

Donna Mae Elsie Timm was more than a person; she was a beacon of light, symbolizing love, faith, and community. Her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her, a lasting testament to a life well-lived and richly loved.

Blessed be her memory.
