Dolores "Dee" K. Fischer

Dolores “Dee” K. Fischer, age 85, of Morgan, MN and formerly of Shakopee, MN for 53 years passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at Gil-Mor Manor in Morgan, Minnesota. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Morgan, with burial to follow in St. Michael’s Catholic Church Cemetery. A visitation will be held one hour prior to mass at the church.

Dolores was born on April 20, 1939 to Roman and Clara (Groebner) Fischer in Sherman Township, Redwood County.

Dolores attended St. Michael’s Catholic School and graduated from Morgan High School in 1957. She then continued her education at St. Mary’s School of Nursing in Rochester, MN. After graduating with a degree in nursing, she started working at Redwood Falls Hospital, later at the hospital in Northfield, MN and then Saint Francis Hospital in Shakopee. After retiring, she volunteered at many different places.

Dolores is survived her brother, Cletus Fischer of Joplin, Missouri; sister-in-law, Barb Fischer of Morgan; nieces and nephews, Lisa (Tom) Williams, Shelly (Paul) Huettl, Chad (Karla) Fischer, Brad (special friend, Summer) Fischer, Donna Fischer, Joan Fischer and also many great nieces and nephews.

 Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, Roman and Clara Fischer; sister, Lorraine Fischer, brother, Jerome Fischer, sister, Ancel Fischer.
