Anna May Noren, 81, of Redwood Falls died Thursday, December 24, 2015 at Wood Dale Nursing Home in Redwood Falls. A private family memorial service will be held in the spring.

Anna May Noren, the daughter of Paul G. and Mildred (Anderson) Nickisch, was born April 12, 1934 in Redfield, South Dakota. She grew up in the Redfield area and graduated from Redfield High School in1952.
On October 29, 1955, Anna May married Donald C. Noren in Redfield. They made their home in St. James, Minnesota until 1963, when they moved to Redwood Falls. Anna May was employed as a bakery assistant at Tersteeg’s supermarket for 28 years. She was a member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Redwood Falls.
Anna May is survived by her children Debra (Bruce) Alberts of Sammamish, Washington, Dwight (Joyce) Noren of Marysville, Washington, Darla (Dave) Sorem of Rossmoor, California, Annette (Rodney) Grob of Burnsville, and Amy (Tim) Spelde of Dixon, Illinois. Also surviving are her grandchildren Sarah (Alberts) Deaton and Kari Alberts, Megan Noren and Kelly Noren, Brad Sorem and Jillian (Sorem) Yasuda, Stefanie (VanFleet) Pelletier and Amanda VanFleet, and Allison Spelde, Sydney Spelde and Kacie Spelde; her sister Mildred Tisland of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; sister-in-law Teresa Nickisch of Sandpoint, Idaho; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald in 1997, and three brothers.
